Wall putty is derived from a polymer which is especially a white cement-based powder. It is composed of different minerals and serves the purpose of smoothening the wall. Wall putty is applied before applying wall paint, it fills the holes and cracks present in the walls and offers an even wall surface. Using wall putty will protect it against cracks, mould, and stains.

It is a versatile material that can be used on any type of wall, from concrete to precast walls and even rendered walls. In general, it takes 1-2 coats of painting putty coupled with sanding, as per the wall type to make the surface ready for new paint.
