Biological Synthesis
There are mainly three types of approaches for the synthesis of nanoparticles: the physical, chemical, and biological approaches. The biological synthesis of nanoparticles utilizes bioactive agents, including plant materials, microbes, and various biowastes like vegetable waste, fruit peel waste, eggshell, agricultural waste, algae, and so on. The biological synthesis of nanoparticles has several advantages, including being straightforward, affordable, producing nanoparticles with high stability and biocompatibility, requiring little time, producing non-toxic byproducts, and being readily scaled up for large-scale synthesis.
